Cauliflower vs constipation and inflammation

Cauliflower is an excellent vegetable whose properties provide many benefits to the body. It is low in calories , with a lot of water content, it has folate , fiber and also many vitamins from groups B and C , which is why it is ideal for combating constipation .

In this sense, the antioxidant action of vitamin C makes its consumption beneficial for the eyes, skin, ears and respiratory system . Additionally, it helps reduce inflammation and symptoms of cold and hyperthyroidism

For this reason, at Salud180.com we present a recipe from DiabetesHoy , prepared by the biologist and diabetes educator, Eva Brito Rivera :

vegetable croquettes

Ingredients (6 servings)

1 cup of grated carrots

1 cup of chopped spinach

1 cup of cauliflower

4 chopped garlic cloves

1 cup of mashed potatoes

2 eggs

Oil

Preparation

In a container, boil the carrot, spinach and cauliflower; Meanwhile, fry the finely chopped garlic. Once the vegetables have boiled, drain them and incorporate them with the garlic; meanwhile, prepare the puree to mix it and add a pinch of salt.

A uniform mass must be formed to make balls with them; then, crush them with a fork, fry them in a frying pan with a little oil, and that's it. They can be sprinkled with grated cheese when serving.
