Hydration should be part of the care routine at any time of year. During spring, it becomes essential to restore the texture and luminosity of the dermis, which is damaged by the cold of the season that precedes it.

In an interview for the program Semper Bem , dermatologist Lia Albuquerque recommends that the moisturizer be applied to the body right after getting out of the shower. According to the professional, “the skin still a little damp favors the absorption of the product”.

It protects the skin from UVA and UVB rays, which can even damage the subcutaneous layers, causing premature aging. SPF 30 is the minimum recommended by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology for this period.

4. Vitamin C

Another recommendation by the dermatologist is the topical use of vitamin C, “which is a powerful antioxidant and one of the most important for the skin”, says Lia. This vitamin helps protect collagen in the dermis, reduce and lighten blemishes, as well as improve skin texture. The ideal is to apply it in the morning, before sunscreen.
